One mom’s dream night, another’s pitiful attempt at coping

My Friday evening purchases:

  • Single serving of key lime pie, because I know myself well enough that were I to buy the entire pie I would eat the whole damn thing.
  • A bottle of merlot with a super cute label.
  • Some lame romance novel where all the characters are the same as every other time period ramance book.

My Friday evening:

  • A glass of the wine.
  • The pie.
  • And now the book.
  • No kids because they are their father’s for the weekend.

Though I suspect there is some lonely and desperate activities somewhere in the above descriptions, I’m in hog heaven.

About Caloden

My name is Heather Craven and Caloden is where I park much of my personal baggage. I started the site, with more than a little help, in the fall of 2005. Up until that point I knew little of bloggers and mostly used my computer to play in Photoshop or harvest the random song. But once I started I was hooked. I like to think that by vomiting out all of my personal crap on the Internet that I am a far healthier person than I was nearly 5 years ago.

I don’t know that I’d be able to limit myself to just the one glass of wine.

    Sounds dreamy to me.
