Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up

My old back injury has flared up with a vengeance. I was mowing the back yard/hill area over the weekend and by Sunday night I was hobbling like an old woman. Yesterday I went to see the chiropractor, a man I always hope is not a flaming quack when I entrust my spinal column into his strong, nubby hands, and he said I have a couple of pinched nerves. There are many things I wish for: a smaller bust, world peace, easier tempered children. Now atop that list is healthy nerves nestled deep in my lower back. Because the pain that is shooting down my legs is something akin to the pain of giving birth, not a good thing at all.

About Caloden

My name is Heather Craven and Caloden is where I park much of my personal baggage. I started the site, with more than a little help, in the fall of 2005. Up until that point I knew little of bloggers and mostly used my computer to play in Photoshop or harvest the random song. But once I started I was hooked. I like to think that by vomiting out all of my personal crap on the Internet that I am a far healthier person than I was nearly 5 years ago.

At least when you’re giving birth, you know it will end. When your back hurts, everything hurts. I hope you feel better soon.
