Birthday goodness

Birthday parties always wear me out and leave me feeling that the inside of a log would be a very good placce to hide for awhile. Cassidy’s party was really quite wonderful. Pizza, a treasure hunt, a crazy cake and presents galore. My mother and ex-husband were in the same vicinity and I barely felt the need to pick out my eye lashes. There was no sixth grade girl drama. Devon only had a few minor melt downs. But I am still exhausted, as if I spent the entire day on my feet running around and appeasing people…oh, wait, that is what I did. But still good times. Pictures to follow later when I can stay awake.

If Cassidy was not at her dad’s house tonight I would play this song for her in honor of her special day:

About Caloden

My name is Heather Craven and Caloden is where I park much of my personal baggage. I started the site, with more than a little help, in the fall of 2005. Up until that point I knew little of bloggers and mostly used my computer to play in Photoshop or harvest the random song. But once I started I was hooked. I like to think that by vomiting out all of my personal crap on the Internet that I am a far healthier person than I was nearly 5 years ago.
