I was not present for the events that transpired today, they occurred while the children were out shopping with my ex-husband and his parents. In many ways I am glad I was absent because if I ever find that Vanessa bitch, I’ll kick her lousy ass. And I’ll enjoy it.

As I have mentioned a time or two before, Cassidy is an amazing young lady, she is full of energy, whip smart and adorable beyond words. So to see her vulnerable or down is not only a rarity but is also very hard to witness. Today she was out shopping with her father when she jumped on a display bed at a department store to test out the comfy level. When she got up her cell phone must have slipped out of her pocket and onto the the floor, a mistake she didn’t notice for several minutes. When she did realize her phone was missing she retraced her steps and borrowed her friend’s phone, who happened to be along for the outing, and called her own phone to see if she could hear it ringing anywhere near them. Cass didn’t hear any ringing. She couldn’t because it was answered by a teen age girl who Cass didn’t know. When Cassidy asked the girl to return the phone the girl laughed and said, “Finders keepers. Losers weepers.” The two were exchanging words when Matt happened upon the conversation, he said he saw Cassidy weeping and asking, “But why won’t you please just give me back the phone. It’s mine. I got it for Christmas.” At this point Matt took the phone only to hear the other girl maniacally laughing. He asked her for her name and where she was from. She boldly told him her name was Vanessa and that she lived in the town where they had been shopping. She also told him that hell no, he couldn’t have the phone back and then laughed some more while her friends laughed in the background. When Matt and Cass got home from shopping he looked up their account online and retrieved the numbers Vanessa had been calling since she stole it. He called one of the numbers and asked for some information from the woman who answered only to be told “that he should leave her (that woman) out of it and stop calling.”
This whole thing makes me absolutely sick to my stomach, oh and raging pissed at Vanessa. But also pissed at her family. What the hell kind of family raises a girl to be so disrespectful and cruel as to mock the pain of others? Especially unnecessary pain? Why couldn’t they just return the phone? They were likely still in the same mall. It wouldn’t have been hard. I know teens can be horrid, I have one and he can be a total pain the ass. But to be awful on a scale like this is unacceptable on so many levels. If I could change things for Cassidy, I would do so in a heartbeat. If I could think up a clever yet painful punishment for Vanessa the Bitch and her worthless friends, I would carry it out in a very public and humiliating manner. But I can’t. Cass is out a phone and those girls are one more step in a very bad direction. Maybe their parents are aware of this and are hurting and worried. But frankly right now I don’t give a damn because they have wronged my gem of a daughter and right now my anger overrides my goodwill to the rest of humanity.

I can feel myself getting angry at the thought of that bitch and her friends doing that to your daughter. What horrid people are raising her.
I know! I get more pissed as the day wears on. What is wrong with people?
This makes me sick. Not only is this kid horrible but what about the “adults” who’ve raised her. Poor Cass. I know how kids feel about their phones.
