She is likely the most magnificent female I will ever encounter. She is amazing in her spirit and wit. Everyday I make a conscious effort to love her, not always an easy task as she is as likely to push me away as she is to accept my morsel of affection. We are like two islands, both of us seeking the comfort of a mainland but each too mired down by our own volcanic baggage to successfully reach out. This is my daughter, Cassidy Jane: beautiful, full of life and headed for greatness. I love her to the depths of my soul.
