God bless those clever people at Motorola. The Slvr phone can take one hell of a licking and keep on a-ticking. It might be a tad bit early to tell, but it looks like after just a bit over 24 hours after the washing machine incident the kids’ phone is accepting calls, making calls, the buttons work, the sound is clear and the picture is clear. I am not sure if the camera part works because I just I haven’t the foggiest idea of how to make it work. But overall this could be a very good thing if I don’t have to shell out the trampoline budget money on a new phone.
I haven’t had a chance to submerge the phone in a container of dry rice, thanks Meredith for that one! But if the condition does not continue to improve, I am grabbing a bag of rice and plopping that bad boy in it.

That’s a relief.
I will never, ever get this right the first time.
I washed about every phone I’ve ever had. All have come back except for my Razr. I’ve moved on to a Nokia phone that has an MP3 player..still reading the book trying to figure that crap out
