Grandparents are both the best and worst babysitters. Best because they are free and usually available and love your kids, worst because they don’t really care one whit about instructions from the parents. Plus, I think there does exist some deep-down desire to sort of stick it to the parents (their own children) for long-past transgressions.
My mom wanted to take Kiddo two days a week, instead of day care. They travel alot, so I had to tell her she was just too unreliable.

Janet, AKA Wondermom, Mia is the nickname everybody uses for Heather’s mom. LOL.
What is this? I come looking for updates every day and then the few days I don’t, I come back and there are three?!
It was hilarious reading this post juxtaposed with the one about you missing your mommy the other day– and then to read Janet’s question. It just occurred to me how this post must have read to someone who doesn’t know that Mia is your mother. ROFL.
