Shut up while I bitch
It is only December 13 and I am not quite sure I can last through this madness. It was all okay until about 6 p.m. this evening. That is when my brother arrived for what is supposed to be just a few days. But I know better. I know he’ll roost his ass here until sometime in January.
He’s not a bad person. But he is likely the most selfish person I have ever met. That last statement is rather bold, I have had the distinct displeasure to meet or encounter some seriously selfish mother effers, but he takes the cake. And it doesn’t mean that I don’t love him. Because I do love him, he is my one and only sibling. But holy fuck, I always forget what an amazing pain in the ass he is. He has more demands than Devon, creates more drama than Cassidy.
I so deeply wish that I could hop in the bug and tool home to my own place. But that is a no-can-do this year. I live here now and am stuck with him until he leaves. The townhouse is rented out and I don’t think the renters would be willing to take me in. I am just trying to breathe. In and out. In. And. Out. Fuuuuuuuuck.

being around family members for that long is a pain in the ass. Especially with a “selfish” sibling. My sympathy.
It’s worse also considering it’s the holidays and you feel like you can’t fully enjoy yourself.
Maybe some bitching to him is in order?
I actually did face him and give him a piece of my mind. It was met with reluctance and sarcasm, but I feel better for getting it off of my chest. Some of my words wer along the lines of “arrogant prick, selfish asshole” but others were constructive.
