Me: Um, yes….
She: Wow. that’s huge! Huh, looks like you’ve been picking at it.
Me: Yes. Well…. Oh, it appears that you have whiskers, much like a catfish, on either sides of your mouth.
She; That’s nothing. Look here. I think I starting a bit of a beard on my chin.
I love her, she’s my mother. This is a mantra I sometimes have to repeat to myself everyday.
