Punkin’ painting

Some people are not team players; I am one of them. Last night, while trying to get my pumpkin done Devon felt inclined to join my decorating team and assist me. As much as I love him, and that is tons, I wanted to stuff him in a closet as I watched him flinging purple paint all over the kitchen. So instead I put him to bed and painted in peace.

Today he is so attached to the pumpkins that he insists on them be carried form room to room so that he can view them from wherever he happens to be. Gotta love a little guy who is attracted to shiny, purple things.

Man, I found a picture of Christian and Tommy as babies the other day. And it made me want one.
But this post took care of that.
    LOL!

Oh, man, he is going to be crushed when it gets all icky inside. What were we supposed to use to stop that? Vasoline??

Props for letting him TRY! I would’ve been to anal to even go there.

My daughter declared the insides of the pumpkin ‘too messy’ to touch. So all she did was watch and cheer while I carved the intricate spider stencil she picked and my husband did the easy-peasy standard face.
