I once read somewhere that when a woman whacks off the majority of her hair that mountains can be moved from the results; a major change in hair length or style is indicative of big things to come. Today I went to see my Cosmic Hairdresser because I was in the mood for such a change. I have super thick, curly hair and the sheer weight of it has been so stifling lately. I had in mind a svelt, Renee Zelwegger or Cameron Diez bob. But the Cosmic Hairdresser, CH, told me that not only would my unruly locks and overly well endowed front side NEVER EVER support something so petite, but that she would not feel ethically comfortable even attempting to hack that sort of thing into my mane of hair. She did agree that most of my hair had to GO. She said it had likely soaked up alot of negative energy from the past couple of years and that by ridding my head of that horror, I would think more clearly. I really had no choice but to agree with her. It took me over three years to find her and she only takes clients by referral. And since she has closed her doors to any more new clients, I count myself lucky to have her in my corner.
As soon as she started cutting I started to feel better. She cut and snipped for over an hour and a half. She then colored for another 90 minutes. The result was a much more redder head of hair and enough hair on the floor for several bald heads to enjoy. I love the result. I haven’t had a chance to really play with it, but I can sense good things to come from it. And although I will never ever have that Renee Zelwegger sleekness, I do have a sort of messy Meg Ryan thing going on up there. We also discussed a breast reduction possibility, but although she does do waxing she doesn’t do anything surgical.

Lord, you are so funny!
And your hair looks FABULOUS!!!
Dude, you’re gorgeous. Keep that hairdresser forever.
Wow! Was my picture in my mind’s eye wrong about you.
Were you blonde ever?
But you look great red! Really great!
No, I was never blonde, only in spirit. My roots are actually mostly grey since I started going grey when I was just 18. But I am fairly blonde in spirit.
Thanks for the happy feedback, guys! It was a huge change for me, but a much needed one.
